Hey Stan! How’s it going, bro?

Since we’re as much a news site as anything, we cover it as a news story, and have posted commentaries both for and against it. I’ve personally posted an editorial against it, and got hundreds of supportive emails in response. We posted a pro-boycott editorial as well and got virtually no response (three or so emails), while anti-boycott email continues to come in. I personally don’t like the idea, which has been pretty obvious by how I’ve written about it. We’ve got a number of good, loyal fans who still think it’s a good idea. I respect these folks opinion, but the number seems to be dwindling.

So, there’s that, if you want to measure the mood of the sort of hard-core fans who hang on the OBR.

As a news story, however, it’s fading fast. There’s not much discussion of it after we do a story about it, and I get the sense that Browns fans are tired of hearing about it. There’s far more interest in potential front-office and coaching hires than anything else right now.

TheBrownsBoard.com is in, sounds like OBR (Scouts) is in per Barry’s comments … let’s pull these sites together as one entity and together we will all have way more supporters than Dawgpound Mike.

Polls on our website indicate that 2/3rds are against it. I received 150-200 emails after publishing an editorial on Friday, almost unanimous against the “Brown Out”.
